- Story Text: Shooting atttack on vehicle in West Bank leaves two
injured, including young boy.
A gunman opened fire on a vehicle outside a Jewish
settlement in the West Bank on Sunday (August 7), wounding
an Israeli man and his 10 year old son, medics said.
Magen David Adom and Zaka rescue services said the boy
was in a critical condition and his father was wounded
lightly in the shooting outside the Ateret settlement,
north of Jerusalem.
Rescue workers arrived at the shooting scene to treat
the wounded and to evacuate them to hospital.
"Number of people, number of Israelis, some of them are
our residents, were driving the car on their way home. One
of our residents was intending to host some friends of his.
On the way to the settlement of Ateret, a gunmen opened

probably, Renault express. As a result of the shooting, a
10 year-old boy was badly wounded in the head, there are

regional security chief, Avigdor Shatz.
The boy was evacuated by an army helicopter to get
further medical treatment at a Jerusalem hospital.
Tensions have been high since a Jewish settler killed
four Israeli Arabs in a shooting attack on a bus in
northern Israel on Thursday (August 4).
A crowd in the Arab town beat the gunman to death.
