- Story Text: Four people, including three children, have been shot dead at a Jewish school by a gunman on a motorbike. French President Nicolas Sarkozy vows the killer will be caught and announces minute of silence in French schools to mourn dead.
A gunman on a motorbike shot dead at least four people, including three children, at a Jewish school in Toulouse on Monday (March 19), just days after three soldiers were killed in similar shootings in the same area of southwest France.
"This man alighted from his moped and as he was outside the school, he shot at everybody who was near him: children or adults. Children were chased right into the school. As we speak there are five victims. Four people including three children have been killed,"
