- Story Text: Cuban judo champion Idalis Ortiz paraded through the streets of her hometown on Tuesday (August 07) after returning home from the London games as a gold medalist.
Ortiz won gold in the womens' heavyweight (+78 kilograms) judo competition.
"I have to say that I am really surprised. The entire town was waiting for me. I am so happy I really don't know how to explain it," Ortiz said.
