- Story Text: Croatia's Janica Kostelic, who made Olympic history with her fourth gold for winning the combined on Saturday (February 18), says she will not compete in the women's super-G on Sunday.
"I will not be taking part," she told Reuters Television in an interview on Saturday. "I'm tired and I'm sick and I need some rest."
Earlier, she had complained to reporters that she felt drained after her combined victory.
"I need more power. I'm feeling really weak," the 2002 super-G silver medallist, said.
Kostelic, 24, missed the women's downhill on Wednesday due to a high pulse rate.
She became the first female skier to win four Olympics golds with her combined victory. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
