- Story Text: The International Olympic Committee said on Monday (February 15) that all post-event doping tests taken after the second day of competition at the Winter Olympics are negative.
Speaking at a press conference in Vancouver, IOC communications director Mark Adams gave details of the drug testing results, both before and after competition.
"Pre-competition tests 838 or which 605 were urine 233 blood tests post competition 136 of which 112 were urine 24 blood."
Weather problems disrupted standing areas within the Snowboarding venue on Monday (February 15) after relentless rain had also washed out the men's downhill event on Saturday (February 13) and women's downhill training on Sunday (February 14).
Despite the problems Adams told reporters that the IOC was very happy with the choice of Vancouver for a location.
