  • Story Text: Manchester United players paraded the club's 19th Premier League title on Monday (May 30) through the rain-soaked streets of Manchester.
    A number of roads were closed to traffic as the team set of on a 4.5 mile parade from Manchester Cathedral.
    Thousands of fans lined the streets to cheer their team, putting their Champions League heartbreak behind them.
    "We want to go for the 20th (title), we have to increase it. A lot of people will be chasing us but I am pretty sure Fergie (Alex Ferguson) will sign top quality players and we will go for the 20th," one Manchester United fan said.
    Alex Ferguson's team had become the most successful team in English football, surpassing the record they have shared with Liverpool for the last two seasons.
    United failed to finish their season on the high note after losing to brilliant Barcelona in the Champions League final at Wembley on Saturday (May 28).
