  • Story Text: Manchester United were met by a posse of dedicated fans as they arrived in Guangzhou on Wednesday (July 25) evening for the latest stage of their Far East tour.
    Fans travelled to the south-western city and crowded outside the team's hotel armed with banners to wait for their arrival and seek autographs.
    The match against Guangzhou will be the team's fourth of the tour, having already played and won games in Japan, South Korea and Macau.
    Members of a Manchester United Chinese fan club are delighted to finally get a chance to see their idols and promised even more fans would arrive in time for the match on Friday.
    The team will train on Thursday in preparation for their match against the unusually named Guangzhou Pharmaceuticals side.
