  • Story Text: FC Barcelona and Manchester United got in an hour of practice Friday (July 29) night at Fedex Field ahead of the friendly the clubs will play tomorrow night just outside of Washington, DC.
    The much anticipated game will be a rematch of the last UEFA Champions League final that took place just two months ago at Wembley Stadium in which Barcelona claimed a 3-1 win.
    The match is also the opening of Barcelona's preseason United States tour while United will wrap up their North American preseason schedule and head back to England for the Community Shield.
    Barcelona will be without several of their top players for tomorrow night's game including Lionel Messi, Dani Alves, and Gabriel Milito who are all taking time off after playing in the recent South American Copa America tournament.
    After meeting United the Spanish club will next move on to Miami where they will meet Chicharito's former team, Mexican club Chivas Guadalajara.
    United will be without Chicharito for tomorrow night's game while he continues to recover from a concussion he suffered last week at practice just outside of New York City.
    The English champs have had an easy time of it against the MLS (Major League Soccer) teams they've played over last two weeks, winning four games by a combined score of 18-2.
