- Story Text: Players from Manchester United arrived at Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok on Thursday (July 11) ahead of a friendly match over the weekend with Thailand's All Star team.
Forward Wayne Rooney was among them amid rumours he'll be leaving for Chelsea after nine years with Manchester.
New manager David Moyes has denied the rumours stating Rooney is not for sale.
England winger Wilfried Zaha also joined the tour and has yet to play in the Premier League.
The 20-year old was the final signing by Moyes' predecessor Alex Ferguson before his retirement.
The pre-season tour in Thailand was under threat after FIFA (Federation International Football Association) executive committee member Worawi Makudi failed to push through FIFA-backed reforms. The matter has been put on hold.
The three-week tour will also include matches in Australia, Japan and Hong Kong. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
