  • Story Text: The larger than life "Way Out Spice Girls" turned a few heads in central London on Friday (August 8) when they swept into Stringfellows nightclub for a special performance alongside "The Dream Boys".

    The Spice Girls look-alikes - five transvestite drag queens - and "The Dream Boys" - a male strip ensemble - have gained some notoriety recently having scooped parts in the "Spice, the Movie".

    But the guys and girls were giving nothing away about the movie, currently being filmed around London and cloaked in a veil of secrecy.

    All the "Way Out Spices" would say of their on-set experiences were that the real Spices were jealous when the two groups met face to face.

    "We are so tall, they only come up to here on us", Steffan Whitfield, alias Ginger (Geri), alias Tarty Spice joked.

    Fellow star "Dream Boy", Richard Adams, said the "Way Out Spices" would go far...though not as far as "The Dream Boys".

    The Dream Boys are planning to release an album at Christmas - to coincide with the release of "Spice, the Movie" - and a European tour later this year.
