- Story Text: Tom Parker Bowles, friend of Prince William and son of
Camilla Parker Bowles is said to have admitted having a
cocaine problem.Parker Bowles who works for PR agency DDA was
in the South of France helping with the Cannes Film Festival
when reports of the story broke.
Bowles, 24, a friend of Prince William and godson of
Prince Charles has not been seen in public since the news of
his drug problem was disclosed in a British newspaper on
Sunday (May 16).
Working in Cannes for DDA (Dennis Davidson Associates), a
London-based film PR company, Bowles is reported to have been
approached by a Sunday Times reporter with evidence of his
cocaine abuse, at a party in the French Riviera resort at the
weekend.
Bowles' employer and DDA head, Dennis Davidson was working
at his offices at the Majestic hotel in Cannes on Sunday (May
16), but refused to comment on the news other than saying that
it was 'business as usual' for DDA.
The Majestic Hotel is one of many well known hotels along
the famous Croisette in Cannes, where film stars stay during
the festival.
