- Story Text: Despite high winds and driving rain, rescue workers re-entered the Oklahoma blast site after a three hour delay on Saturday (April 22) but they found no new survivors and seemed to have little hope of doing so.
Workers were also facing a new health problem on Saturday - the danger of infection from putrifying bodies.
Oklahoma city assistant fire chief John Oong said the bad weather did mean the rate of decay of the remaining bodies was slowed.
Work combing through the rubble was halted at one point after police said a man had been discovered in the blast area, engaged in what they described as subversive activity. He was escorted from the area and arrested.
At the city fairground arena preparations were being made for Sunday's memorial service to be attended by President Bill Clinton and his wife, Hillary.
Eleven thousand people were expected to fill the arena with many thousands more listening outside. The auditorium was decorated with flowers and other tributes to those killed in the explosion.
