- Story Text: New United Nations (U.N.) monitoring teams on Sunday (October 16) started investigating Iraqi military establishments.
A ballistic missile team left Baghdad to monitor Iraqi missile facilities.
On Saturday, missile team leader Ernest Colin said that despite the current crisis between the United States and Iraq he did not anticipate any problems in carrying out the investigation.
In addition, chemical weapons and nuclear teams which arrived on Saturday continued their monitoring work on Sunday as part of a long-term programme of checking Iraq's military capacity.
The teams' work follows the establishment this week of long-term U.N. cameras at Iraqi missile factories.
