  • Story Text: Thousands of bikers converged on Washington D.C. this
    weekend for the annual Rolling Thunder motorcycle rally.


    The event, which is held on the Sunday before Memorial
    Day, is a demonstration to support U.S. military veterans and
    those who were killed or went missing in action during the
    Vietnam War.

    The line of motorcycles stretched for several miles along
    the parade route, which took the riders across Washington's
    famous Memorial Bridge and concluded at the Vietnam Veteran's
    Memorial on the Mall.

    This is the 14th consecutive year that the Rolling Thunder
    rally has taken place.
