- Story Text: Israel's air force bombarded the house of Ibrahim Dahman, a Hamas leader on Thursday (November 16) after warning occupants to get out, witnesses and Palestinian officials said. Palestinian medical officials said there were no injuries or wounded from the airstrike.
Fire crews rushed to the scene to douse the fire caused by the strike that engulfed the building.
Minutes later, an Israeli warplane bombed the home of a Sami Saleh, another Hamas leader in nearby Rafah on Friday (November, 17) after warning occupants to leave.
According to Palestinian medical officials three residents of the neighborhood were wounded when the missiles struck their target.
There were no immediate official response from the Israeli military on the two airstrikes.
On Wednesday (November 15), a rocket fired from Gaza killed a 58-year-old woman and wounded several other residents of Sderot an Israeli border town of Gaza, prompting Israel to vow it would "find and kill" the Palestinian militants responsible.
It was the first time since July 2005 that rockets had killed an Israeli in towns and villages along the Gaza frontier. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
