Story Text: A number of air strikes shook the Libyan capital Tripoli in the early hours of Wednesday (June 8), hours after the most intense day of air strikes since the NATO-led alliance began operations to impose UN security council resolutions to protect civilians from pro-Gaddafi forces.
Libyan state television said the blasts targeted sites in Jumhuriya Street and Muammar Gaddafi's Bab al-Aziziya complex, which was bombed heavily on Tuesday.
