Israel launched an air strike in the central Gaza Strip on Monday (July 30). One vehicle was targetted. Three Palestinian militants and four civilians were wounded, medics said.
Israel's military confirmed the attack, which it said was aimed at preventing rockets from being launched at Israel from Gaza.
Israel has pressed on with offensive against militant targets in the coastal strip since Hamas Islamists seized the territory.
According to witnesses the vehicle hit on Monday near Mughazi refugee camp , south of Gaza City, exploded on impact, wounding three militants from the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades of President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah movement and Islamic Jihad.
Medics could not confirm the identities of those who were injured. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
