- Story Text: Striker Faustino Asprilla said he was flying out of Paris for Colombia later on Friday and would not return to the Colombian World Cup squad.
"Maybe I will commentate on the matches for television, from over there," former Newcastle United striker Asprilla said before leaving a Paris hotel.
His father Diego said he hoped to catch a plane at 1100 GMT for Bogota.
Earlier Asprilla had apologised for his recent behaviour and asked to return to the Colombia World Cup squad after being thrown out by coach Hernan Dario Gomez.
