- Story Text: On the second day of all India Port strike the Calcutta Port came to a stand-still position and no food ships was unloaded or the already loaded food-grains were removed to the Government food department. 11 food ships are now waiting to be unloaded in Calcutta which have been stopped for the call of strike by the All India Port Workers Federation from January 16th. The Government of India had declared the dock strike illegal.
The Government is trying to use the Army for unloading the food-ships under special condition.
