- Story Text: An oil tanker was set ablaze on Baghdad's airport
road.
A tanker carrying oil to the U.S. forces was set
ablaze after coming under attack with rocket-propelled
grenades (RPG) on Baghdad on Sunday night (September 26).
Witnesses said that the attack prompted the U.S. troops
to open fire, causing material damaged to nearby houses,
but no injuries.
The U.S. military had no word on the incident.
The Baghdad airport road is the site of frequent
attacks against U.S. troops and their supply convoys, which
is described by the U.S. State Department described the
airport road as among the country's most dangerous.
