- Story Text: "Twilight" fans were greeted with sunshine and warm weather on day two of their camp out, with even more devotees filling up a concrete plaza in downtown Los Angeles on Friday (November 9).
People traveled from as far away as Brazil and England to await their date with Robert Pattinson and other stars from the vampire romance film series.
"We traveled all the way from England, like 5,000 miles," said fan Sarah Harper. "We usually do the London one, but we thought we'd do something special for the last one. So we've come to represent Rob."
"I just came from Brazil yesterday," said camper Gabriela Ribeiro. "I flew 32 hours, five flights, alone. We're here to have fun and see the actors."
Sponsors set up a morning workout for campers to start their day, which 57-year-old Janet Martindale from Florida said was a great idea.
"We're so packed in here that we need the exercise," she said. "It's fun to be able to do it with the people that you're here to celebrate 'Twilight' and 'Breaking Dawn 2' with."
An estimated 2,500 eager fans of "The Twilight Saga," who have pre-registered for the organized camp out are being rewarded for their patience with guaranteed viewing spots to see Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Pattinson and more walk the carpet for the November 12 world premiere of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2."
The "Twilight" books by author Stephenie Meyer have been a publishing sensation and spawned a Hollywood movie franchise, which has made more than $2.5 billion combined at box offices worldwide.
