SYNOPSIS: The President-elect of Argentina, Dr. Hector campora, and former president Juan Peron, flew into Madrid from Rome on Saturday. They were greeted at the airport by the Spanish Foreign Minster Lopez Bravo.
Dr. Campora, who was officially proclaimed on Friday as the winner of the presidential elections held in Argentina in March, had been holding talks with Senor Peron in Rome. He was visiting Spain to pay his respects to General Franco, the leader of what he called the Argentine's 'sister country'.
Senor Peron, who has been taking an active part in Argentine politics from his Madrid home, had personally picked Dr. Campora as the Justicialist Party's candidate for the presidential elections.
On this occasion, Senor Peron and his wife, Senora Isabel Martinez, played a supporting role to Dr. Campora.
They were immediately whisked off to the Prado Palace to hold talks with General Franco. Dr. Campora left for Rome later on the same day on his way back to Buenos Aires where he is due to be inaugurated as President on May the twenty-fifth.
