  • Story Text: Bayern Munich trained hard on Thursday (March 2), eager to hold onto a steady lead at the top of the German Bundesliga and extend their unbeaten run to 18 matches.
    Bayern beat Schalke 04 3-0 on Wednesday (March 1) to reach the semi-finals of the German Cup where they will play Borussia Dortmund or Sportfreunde Lotte.
    Carlo Ancelotti's team next play on Saturday (March 4) away to FC Cologne who are seventh in the table.
    The defending champions are five points clear of RB Leipzig and are in bouyant mood after thrashing Hamburg SV 8-0 last weekend.
