    Kampuchea's Foreign Minister Hun Sen ahs attacked the United States and China for what he called perfidious diplomatic activities in support of opposition forces led by former Kampuchean ruler Prince Norodon Sihanouk. The statement, made at the International Forum for Peace in south East Asia which opened in the Kampuchean capital Phnom Penh on February 25, included a reiteration of the nation's alliance with Vietnam. The two-day form, attended by delegates from 37 nations and six international organisations,was organised by the World Peace Council in co-ordination with the Kampuchean Committee for the Defence of Peace. On arrival at Phnom Penh's Ponchenteng airport on February 24, delegates were welcomed by government officials of the people's Republic of Kampuchea -- many of whom had just returned from a three-nation summit of Indo-chinese countries in Laos. The following day, delegates attended a wreath-laying ceremony at the Monument of Independence commemorating all those who had died under the preceding regime of Khmer Rouge leader Pol Pot. The high point of the last day was mass meeting at the National Stadium. It was at the forum's opening session that Mr. Hun Sen delivered his violent attack on the United States and China. Referring to the signing of friendship treaties between Vietnam and Laos in 1977, and between Vietnam and Kampuchea in 1979, he said the links between the three nation would ensure that U.S. and Chinese hopes to de-stabilize the People's Republic remained unfulfilled. The Kampuchean Foreign Minister also said his country, together with other Socialist and peace-loving nation,pledged its support to African and Latin-American peoples engaged in struggle for independence and freedom. His statement was echoed by the President of the Khmer National Assembly Mr. Cheo Chandra, and World Peace council President Romesh Chandra form India. Mr. Chandra warned that U.S. nuclear arms policies would be defeated by peace-loving people in Europe, Africa, Latin America and United States itself. In
    his address, Mr Chea Sim attacked Western powers which backed Prince Sihanouk's claim to attend a summit of non-aligned countries in New Delhi in March. India, which recognises the Heng Samrin government in Phnom Penh, has insisted that Kampuchean seat at the summit remain vacant.
