- Story Text: NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organisation) equipment was unloaded at the Croatian port of Ploce on Friday (December 15) as the international force stepped up its plans for deployment in Bosnia.
About 250 containers containing equipment destined for French units in Ploce, Sarajevo and Mostar were emptied. About 110 United Nations (U.N.) vehicles for use by NATO forces stationed throughout Bosnia and Croatia were also unloaded.
NATO containers and equipment arrived on the French cargo ship Aurelia which brought them from the French port of Toulon.
