- Story Text: An Israeli man was wounded on Monday (April 2) near the Western Wall in Jerusalem's Old City.
Police said the victim was attacked with a small axe, security services said they are searching for the suspect.
The 70-year old Ultra Orthodox Jew was evacuated to a hospital in Jerusalem after being hit over the head with the axe.
Police and rescue forces rushed to the scene, sealing the area while the man was treated. Video shot by Reuters Television showed a small axe lying next to the victim's hat and yarmulke.
