- Story Text: Israeli aircraft hit Ahmad Al-zahamreh's home in Gaza City early on Sunday morning (February 19), injuring his two year old baby.
Reuters video showed damage to the bedroom where young Ali Al-zahamreh was sleeping with his parents.
According to a military spokesperson unit statement, during the weekend four rockets were launched from Gaza towards Israeli communities, causing no casualties.
In a separate incident on Friday (February 17), an RPG anti-tank missile was launched at Israeli soldiers, damaging the security fence nearby.
Following the soldiers' arrival at the scene an explosive device was detonated in the Gaza Strip. Israeli soldiers responded by using tank fire, the statement said.
An Israeli strike on Thursday (February 16) injured four Palestinians and damaged to an ambulance, Palestinian Red Crescent reported.
Israel's airforce launched the raid after Palestinian militants fired rockets into Southern Israel, towards the coastal city of Ashkelon. No injuries were reported. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
