Story Text: A roadside bomb targeting an interior ministry vehicle just south of the oil-rich city of Kirkuk on Thursday (October 15), wounded four policemen, a police source said.
The attack took place in the town of Taza, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad.
Despite the fall in violence over the last 18 months, Iraq still remains one of the world's most dangerous places with car bombs, shootings and other attacks happening on a daily basis.
Elsewhere, a roadside bomb targeting an Iraqi police patrol killed one civilian and wounded three including two policemen in north Baghdad's Adhamiya district, while a bomb in the town of Tuz Khurmato, 170 km (105 miles) north of Baghdad, wounded a member of the Kurdish security forces on Wednesday (October 14).
