- Story Text: Forty-five relatives and friends of the passengers aboard the Pan-American airliner that was bombed at Rome Airport on Monday (17 December) by Arab guerrillas, arrived in Rome Tuesday (18 December) in a special charter flight from Saudi Arabia.
The death toll among the passengers on the Boeing 707 now stands at thirty, but some of the bodies have not been identified.
As a Pan-American Airline official read out the death list in a room at the airport, wives, children and other relatives collapsed and wept.
Many of the relatives work for the American oil company ARAMCO in the Middle East.
On Wednesday, the relatives of those listed dead had to visit the morgue in Rome to identify the bodies.
