  • Story Text: A bomb that exploded near a police station claimed the lives of two civilians.
    A bomb went off near a police vehicle in central Baghdad on Monday (February 23), killing two civilians and wounding 6 others, including two policemen, an eyewitness and police said.
    They said that the blast took place as a joint police and commando patrol was passing by Al-Sammaree hospital at Al-Anduls square in central Baghdad.
    Although tight security measures are being taken by Iraqi security forces in Baghdad such attacks are regularly occurrence in the capital.
