Three people were killed and eight wounded in car bomb attack in central Baghdad on Monday (April 15), police said. The target was an Iraqi police convoy.
Another source said the blast occurred while a convoy carrying an Iraqi police commander was driving through the area in Karrada, central Baghdad, wounding him and five policemen. The blast wrecked three police vehicles.

''It was a car bomb exploding at a time when civilian cars and people where passing by causing damage to several cars and wounding several people," said Major-General Ali Yassin.
