- Story Text: Four people died when fire swept through an apartment building in Paris on Thursday (3 June). Police believe the fire may have been started by a bomb.
Eye-witnesses said they saw two masked men running from the building just before there were two explosions. The dead included the building's caretaker and her 12-year-old daughter.
The bomb caused extensive damage and fragments of gas cylinders were discovered. Two unexploded bombs, made from similar containers, were later defused in another employment office in the city.
Leaflets were found nearby, in which a group calling itself the "Revolutionary Brigade" denounced the alleged exploitation of workers.
