    road in Baghdad, witnesses said.



    A suspected car bomb exploded on the main airport
    road in Baghdad on Wednesday (Novcember 17, 2004), damaging a
    four-wheel drive vehicle.

    There was no immediate comment from the U.S. military
    on the attack and no report on casualties.

    U.S. troops gathered near the site where parts of the
    car wreckage scattered on the wide grass strip dividing the
    lanes to and from the airport.

    U.S. military vehicles sealed off the area as troops
    searched the area for the attackers, witnesses said.
