  • Story Text: Car bomb wounds 10 Iraqi civilians in Mosul.



    A car bomb exploded near a U.S. military convoy in
    the northern Iraqi city of Mosul on Friday (August 27),
    wounding at least 10 Iraqi civilians and one U.S. soldier,
    the U.S. military said.

    "One Stryker vehicle sustained minor damage and
    continued its mission," the military said in a statement.

    Hospital officials said 10 wounded civilians had been
    brought in for treatment.
