- Story Text: Four Iraqis wounded and one killed in roadside bomb
in Baquba.
The roadside bomb had targetted a U.S. patrol due in
Baquba later on Saturday (August 21) but exploded as
roadside workers cleared the streets.
"The roadside bomb was targetting a U.S. military
patrol and the bomb exploded before they arrived and caused
injury of the workers and killed one of the workers," said
an Iraqi policeman.
The wounded were treated in a local hospital while
relatives arrived at the morgue to claim the body of the
man killed in the blast.
