Summary:Nearly 200 Palestinians, deported by Israel to south Lebanon's no-man's-land, ended their exile on September 9 and crossed into Israeli-occupied territory in southern Lebanon. They left the camp that had been their home at Marj az-Zohour and walked one by one to the Zemraya crossing into the security zone held by Israeli troops. The remaining 215 deportees were to stay in exile until Israel allowed them to return, which was expected the following December.
