  • Story Text: There has been intensive fighting in the area around Saigon as both sides in the Vietnamese conflict try to improve and consolidate their positions before the strongly-expected ceasefire. There has bee a rise in the number of North Vietnamese troops killed in the area. Villages have been changing hands frequently - and often end up devastated and uninhabitable.
