CLOSE OF REPORTERS AT NEWS CONFERENCE CAMERAMEN (SOUNDBITE) (English) ACTOR JOHN CHO, SAYING: "Taking this job had a special significance for me in one respect, when I was a child, an immigrant from South Korea to the United States in the late 70ties. As an Asian-American i wasn't particulary pleased with what was on television. People with faces like me weren't represented particularly well, but George Takei and the show was a real exception. It was a spectacular exception and it was such a positiv portrayal and a positive show. And so it was extremely meaningful for me to watch him then as a boy and it's really meaningful for me to follow in his footsteps."
