- Story Text: Pop singer Michael Jackson has been mobbed by excited fans on the second day of his visit to Prague in the Czech Republic.
Jackson arrived in the Czech capital Prague on Tuesday (September 3) ahead of the start of his first world tour in two years.
To mark his arrival, tour promoters raised a huge statue of the singer where a monument to former Soviet leader Josef Stalin once stood.
Jackson plays his first concert when the "HiStory" world tour starts on Saturday (September 7) on Prague's Letna Plain, where Communist leaders once reviewed troops and Pope John Paul II held mass.
This tour is Jackson's first since he was cleared of child molestation charges by a United States (U.S.) court because of lack of evidence. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
