  • Story Text: Not happy with just a successful musical career, British singer and former Eternal member Louise has turned her hand at writing.

    The singer launched her new book at the Virgin Megastore in London's Oxford Street last week (October 16). As well, she signed autographed copies of it for hundreds of fans.

    Louise said she wrote the book to talk about her childhood and how she got into the music industry -- while it was fresh in her mind.

    "I like to think it's an inspirational book to other young people", Louise said.

    Louise, a 22-year-old south Londoner, is a girl who appears to have it all.

    Since her amicable departure from Britain's most successful girl group Eternal in 1995, her solo career has met with meteoric success.

    She was the most successful UK female pop artist of 1996.

    Her debut solo album, "Naked", went platinum and five singles from it achieved top-twenty status, including "Light of My Life", "Undivided Love" and "Naked".

    The singer has been consistently voted one the sexiest women on the planet and she has every "It" girl's ideal accessory, a footballer boyfriend in the form of Jamie Redknapp who plays for Britain's Liverpool football club.

    Louise has just released her second album "Woman In Me" and next month begins her first solo tour "No Sweat". The tour is scheduled to cover the British Isles.
