- Story Text: The girl group called All Saints performed for fans in New York City's Central Park Wednesday evening (August 26).
The weather was hot and muggy, and the crowd was small (approximately 500), but All Saints gave an enthusiastic performance in New York City Wednesday evening (August 26).
They sang with the Manhattan skyline behind them on a stage in Central Park for a private affair hosted by London Records and DKNY jeans.
Before the show, two of the singers talked to Reuters Television about the rumours that All Saints are climbing into the Spice Girls' top popularity spot.
Shaznay Lewis said, "It seems like a lot of pressure where we are right now, let alone, I can't even imagine what they (Spice Girls) go through, being at the level they're on.So, I"m not really fighting for that position at all."
Natalie Appleton added, "We're getting where we want to be at the moment...We just went gold with our album in America, which is a pretty good achievement. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
