- Story Text: Yet another vampire thriller is now playing in theaters throughout the United States, this one starring a bunch of young actors from popular television shows and sporting a decidedly modern accent. It's called "The Forsaken."
Popular television actors Kerr Smith and Brendan Fehr take breaks from their respective series to star in the new vampire movie "The Forsaken," now playing in theatres throughout the United States.
Smith plays an unfortunate man driving across country for his sister's wedding when he breaks down in the middle of the desert and meets up with Nick, Fehr's character, who appears to be an innocent hitchhiker.
Of course, the truth is much more complicated than that, and soon Smith finds himself hunting modern-day vampires, played by actors Jonathan Schaech and Phina Oruche.
It was a welcome break from "Dawson's Creek" for Smith, except for the time spent on location in Yuma, Arizona, one of the hottest spots in the United States. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
