  • Story Text: Former Duran Duran base player, John Taylor, recently ended his first U.S.tour with new band John Taylor Terroristen.
    As a songwriter and bass player in Duran Duran, John Taylor helped define the sound of music in the 80's.Now, with his new band John taylor Terroristen, Taylor has just completed his first U.S.tour and released a new album.
    This latest creative outing allows Taylor to take centrestage with new material as well as his own unique interpretations of timeless songs from his days with Duran Duran, Power Station and Neurotic Outsiders.Terroristen (which means Terrorist in German) features Gerry Laffy on guitar, Michael Railton on keyboards, John Amato on saxophone and Larry Aberman on drums.The band, formed earlier this year, has already secured a fan base in Lost Angeles where they played a sold out show at the Roxy.
    Taylor moved to Los Angeles five years ago while Duran Duran's "Meddazzaland" was in progress, and laughs off any suggestion of rejoining the 80's superband.
