  • Story Text: Before strutting their stuff at the Amfar event some of the world's most sought after models - Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks and Stephanie Seymour - relaxed with a party on a yacht at Palm Beach owned by the Mouawad family.
    This year, the amFAR party is set to break records.The annual Cinema Against AIDS benefit is expected to raise more money than at any single benefit event in the non-profit organisation's 15- year history.
    Thanks to the involvement of American lingerie company, Victoria's Secret, more glamour and glitz is on the menu at the Cannes film festival than ever before with the help of models Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks, Stephanie Seymour and Karen Mulder, to name a few.
    Taking time out from rehearsals for the Victoria's Secret fashion show, the models posed infront of the cameras before attending a press conference with amFAR co-sponsor Harvey Weinstein of Miramax films.
    Not content to rest in their hotel rooms, many of the models were out on the town last night (May 17).At the invitation of the owners of Mondera.com, the internet luxury jewellery company also sponsors of the amFAR event, many of the girls showed up at Palm Beach to rock the night away.
    A number of the girls were sporting 'loaned' jewels worth $100,000 from the Mouawad family, owners of the yacht.
    According to model Ingrid, that's nothing compared to the value of the rocks the models are expecting to wear during the raunchy Victoria's Secret fashion show tonight (May 18).
