- Story Text: The film "Ocean's Twelve" is a sequel that returns with the same cast, plus one Catherine Zeta Jones, that made "Ocean's Eleven" such a big hit. It's been three years since Danny Ocean (GEORGE CLOONEY) and his crew-fronted by detail man Rusty Ryan (BRAD PITT), up-and-coming pickpocket Linus Caldwell (MATT DAMON), explosives expert Basher Tarr (DON CHEADLE) and safecracker Frank Catton (BERNIE MAC) - pulled off one of the most audacious and lucrative heists in history, robbing ruthless entrepreneur Terry Benedict (ANDY GARCIA) of every dime stored in his impenetrable Las Vegas vault.
After splitting the $160 million take, each of the crew try to go straight. But, that proves hard to do. When someone rats out the gang to Benedict, they are forced to repay the money the only way they know how--by stealing it.
Actors George Clooney and Brad Pitt, who seem to share the same friendship off-screen that they do in the film, explain the benefits of the movie's many on-site location shoots.
"Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Lake Coumo, Sicily," said Pitt, in naming off just some of the spots that appear in the film.
"Sicily, that's right," laughed Clooney.
"We forgot about Sicily. Yeah, we were all over the place."
While the whole cast was in agreement about how much fun they had in making the movie, Clooney could only joke about a possible "Ocean's Thirteen."
"We've already shot "Thirteen," joked Clooney.
"Although we're not calling it 'Thirteen.' We're calling it "Ocean's 5,6,7,8!" It's a musical and I want to say that Matt Damon does an interpretive dance."
