- Story Text: After weeks of denying widespread rumours that they were about to wed, movie superstar Brad Pitt and "Friends"
co-star Jennifer Aniston have reversed course and now say they're going to get married this weekend.
Pitt, 36, and Aniston, 31, will tie the knot over the weekend, according to Pitt's spokeswoman, who also appealed to the press to respect the couple's privacy.
Sources close to the pair said the wedding will take place in the posh beach-front enclave of Malibu under a white tent in a ceremony to be attended by 200 friends and relatives.
Rumours that the glamour couple were on the verge of marrying have been swirling around for months, gaining increasing frequency in recent days.
Denials were made by Pitt's publicist as recently as last week.
Pitt was previously engaged to Oscar-winner Gwyneth Paltrow. He has starred in such films as "Fight Club,"
"Seven," and "Legends of the Fall."
Aniston plays the role of Rachel on the NBC hit comedy "Friends," for which she garnered an Emmy nomination last week in the category of best supporting actress in a comedy series. - Copyright Holder: FILE REUTERS (CAN SELL)
