- Story Text: MTV's fashion/music crossover project, Fashionably Loud has been a smash hit in the States, and now it's coming to Europe. The show - part model competition, part runway show, part live gig, all rolled into one - will take place in Milan in April - and glamorous supermodel Heidi Klum is the host.
International model Heidi Klum is no stranger to Fashionably Loud - after co-hosting the event in the USA, she is fronting the inaugural European version of the show next month.
Already one of the most successful models in the world, the German beauty has also turned her hand to film and TV - she received rave reviews for her turn in the Michael Fox sitcom, Spin City.
Fashionably Loud sees the world of fashion and music collide. It's not only a model competition, in which finalists from all over Europe take their turn on the runway for their shot at a top modeling contract - it's also a collaboration between the worlds of rock and fashion. Top designers will design clothes especially to fit a musical feast provided by some of the cream of the rock and pop world. Previous participants include Anna Sui, Betsey Johnson and Puff Daddy's label Sean John, No Doubt, Moby, Mya and Fatboy Slim. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
