- Story Text: Hollywood's biggest stars turned out for the 14th annual Kids' Choice to be feted from kids all over America who voted online for the celebrities they liked the most. Walking away with the award for the actor children most wanted to be like was Tom Cruise.
Over 10 million Kid's Choice votes were cast online (www.nick.com). Kid voted for their favorite stars by logging onto the internet.Hosting this year's event was talk show host Rosie O'Donnell. The show featured special performances by "Backstreet Boys," "Destiny's Child," Aaron Carter'" and "Lil Bow Wow."
Charlie's Angels Drew Barrymore received a nod for favorite movie actress. Meanwhile her costar Cameron Diaz got a special award for "Best Burp." Other big winners included, "Lil Bow Wow," for favorite male singer, "Destiny's Child,"
for best group and "Aaron Carter" for best rising star.
The trophy for the kids favorite song of the year went to "Baha Men'" for "Who Let the Dogs Out."
