  • Story Text: American Pie 2, the hit comedy which earned cult status among movie goers, saw its European Premiere at the 27th American Film Festival in Deauville, France. Members of the original cast - Jason Briggs, Shannon Elizabeth, Tara Reid and Seann William Scott were joined by director, J.B Rogers and producer Craig Perry for the premiere.
    Seann William Scott (Stifler) is still the bad boy of "American Pie 2" - and he told Reuters Television his favourite scene in the sequel was 'The lesbian sequence' where the guys (Seann and Jason Biggs) 'got to the big kiss'.
    "American Pie 2" mirrors the adventures of "American Pie"
    by reuniting the entire ensemble cast of the original comedy - boldly taking 'the next step' into the fringes of adulthood.
    After their first year apart at college, the guys Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas), Jim (Jason Briggs), Oz (Chris Klein), Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas) and Stifler (Seann William Scott) rent a beach house vowing to celebrate their friendship and make it the best summer ever.
    But, as always, whether their dreams come true or not is ultimately up to the girls - Vicky (Tara Reid), Michelle (Alyson Haningan), Nadia (Shannon Elizabeth), Heather (Mena Suvari) and Jessica (Natasha Lyonne).
    Through one boisterous summer of parties, mishaps - and, yes, a trip to band camp - the gang discovers that times change and people change, but friendships last a lifetime.
    On the red carpet at the European Premiere at the 27th American Film Festival in Deauville, France, were Seann William Scott, Jason Briggs, Tara Reid and Shannon Elizabeth.
    When asked what he thought of the Deauville premiere, Seann William Scott said 'It was great. I think, you know what I notice in Europe is that people really appreciate movies, like it's got a really great place and they really love actors. In comparison to the States, you know, the States sometimes go a little bit too far and they can't really differentiate between reality and what they see on screen'.
