- Story Text: Pop Star Sting performed a free concert at New York's Bryant Park, to promote the launch of Windows XP.
Pop star Sting played to a enthusiastic audience at New York's Bryant Park, and to a larger world wide audience via simultaneous web cast.
The crooner was introduced by Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates, who's Windows XP Software was released hours before. After the introductions, Sting went onto play a set that included "Englishman In New York", "Fields of Gold", "Brand New Day"
and "Every Breath You Take."
The fans were mesmerized by the music and the quality of the performance.
